D'Artagnan.

They were sad to leave, but they had no choice. D'Artagnan was their pet since Peter took his First Communion. The dog was a little animal, very smooth and it never used to bark. Peter and D'Artagnan were a perfect couple. Every weekend his family used to go to Mayflower. This was a country house with more than 60 rooms.

Peter's father was a Lord, the Earl of Lancaster, and always said: "A gentleman needs a dog; and a dog needs a master. Peter, never forget this"

Three years later, Peter had a terrible accident. He fell off his horse, Montalban-a spanish horse-, and broke his spine. The death appeared in the Lancaster House. The hier died at only fourteen years old.

Peter's mother, Anne, blamed D'Artagnan for the death of her son, and she wanted to kill the pet. Charles Lancaster told with his wife off for this petition because he felt that D'Artagnan was a part of his son. And this was true because when Peter was buried, the pet never returned to Mayflower. D'Artagnan was over the tomb of his master. It never left this place. The place where its master and best friend was.
